Adamawa State Gov.commended the state primary health care development agency

Governor Mahammadu Umar Jibrilla has commended board,management and staff of the state primary health care development agency for making the state proud and being among the best in Nigeria.

Governor Umar Jibrilla made the commendation Thursday during the commissioning of office complex, coldroom,and others held at the Adamawa state primary health care development agency office kofare.

Represented by his deputy, Martins Babale,the Governor says the state Government will continued to encouraged the agency to perform its duty effectively.

The Governor who expressed delight to commissioned the office complex projects built by the agency and named it after the wife of the Governor, hajiya Maryam Muhammed Jibrilla which will house the entire state vaccine cold room .Governor Jibrilla further said the agency has done a tremendous transformation from its inception in two thousand and eleven under the leadership of Doctor Abdullahi Belel.

He added that this is the second time this administration is commissioning infrastructural projects at the agency headquarters.The Governor said he is aware of many other infrastructural development recorded in all the two hundred and twenty six wards in the twenty one local government.

places built are primary health care officers and conference room,storage unit and fifty Yamaha motorcycles donated by UNICEF, two twin cabin Nissan pickup vans by ICRC,ninety sets of maternity equipment and thirty three kva generator with transformer to eased power supply.

In his welcome address, the chairman primary health care development agency, doctor Abdullahi Belel said the mandate of primary health care agency is to take care of agency in the state, adding that the agency cannot function well without adequate infrastructures.

Doctor Belel appreciated Government Jibrilla for steering of the agency and other donor partners like red Cross, world health organization,ICRC for ensuring all areas in the health sector is covered.

In their separate good will messages, by Commissioner of health, doctor Fatima Atiku,Representatives of UNICEF,WHO,ICRC,and Alhaji Abubakar sani from the National primary health care agency all lauded Adamawa state government for the support given to the agency and reiterated their commitment to continued to partner with them.

Highlight of the event was the commissioning of the projects by Deputy Governor Martins Babale,with the support of Secretary to the state government, doctor Umar Bindir,Speaker ,Alhaki kabiru Mijinyawa,commissioner of information and strategy Comrade Ahmed Sajo.
