Nigeria major challenges have been identified

Moral and ethical corruption, terrorism and religious intolerance, political exclusion, gender disparity has been identified as a major challenge facing Nigerians today.

This was contained in a communique issued at the end of 93 annual convention and pastors conference of the Lutheran church of Christ in Nigeria LCCN held at covenant ground demsa local government are of Adamawa state from 19-25 February 2018.

The LCCN archbishop who is also the President Lutheran world federation most Reverend MUSA panti Filibus who read the communique said, the annual convention historically began in the year 1925 at lamurde of Adamawa state. Right from the inception of the event it has continued to experience increased participation by Lutherans from across the country.

According to the communique the 2018 pastors conference and convention which held under the theme; take heed that no man deceives you drew from the book of Matthew 24:4b, was successful and under peaceful atmosphere.

He however commended the Adamawa state government for the support rendered to them, and called for peace and unity among Nigerians.

37 pastors drawn from the 9 dioceses was ordained at the convention.
